Accommodation

Tresawle is light, airy and spacious. An open plan kitchen, dining room and living area maximises the amazing views. The kitchen is fully equipped with Rangemaster stove, dishwasher and all the pots and pans you’ll need. There’s no better view if you’re munching on a lunchtime pasty or shelling local crab ready for dinner.

There’s an additional play room with sofa, TV and table football, a study, boot room and utilities room.

Upstairs are three en-suite rooms with luxury super-king size beds. There are also two twin rooms, plus an extra family bathroom and shower/toilet. All bedrooms have superb sea views. The landing upstairs overlooks the open plan living area, so it’s easy to shout up when it’s time to head to the beach.

A large south facing patio with garden furniture and BBQ is perfect for al fresco drinks. The house is complete with wifi and geothermal underfloor heating.

Local Area

Tresawle is situated just a 5 minute walk along the cliff path to the beautiful Housel Bay Beach. This sandy cove is tucked away just next to the lighthouse and is a great place for a swim or sunbathe. Since it’s only accessible by foot, it’s quiet even in summer. The water is an incredible shade of turquoise on a clear day – although it looks like the Mediterrannean, the temperature isn’t quite the same!

Other spectacular local beaches include Kynance Cove. This beach has been recognised by the BBC as “one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the South West”, and by Buzzfeed as one of the top places you’d never believe were in the UK. Serpentine rock stacks create caves and islands at low tides to explore – or there’s the option to simply relax on the white sand.

Cadgwith Cove is a tiny, picturesque nearby fishing village you can walk to along the cliff path. There’s a couple of good pubs with sea shanty singers if you head there some nights. Coverack is a little further but also worth a visit, with a beautiful little harbour.

The Lizard village is a 10 minute walk from the house and has everything you need – corner shop, pubs, cafes – and Cornish clotted cream ice cream of course.
